Regarding OJD — the National OJD Management Program was formally concluded in 2018 and all interstate movement restrictions have been progressively removed across Australia, with the last barriers lifted in 2019. There are currently no OJD-related movement restrictions anywhere in Australia. Our foundation flock was vaccinated against OJD by the original breeder, and vaccination for any offspring has since been discontinued on Local Land Services and veterinary advice in line with national deregulation of the program. Every sale is accompanied by a National Sheep Health Declaration giving you full transparency on health status.
Our annual health program includes:
- 5-in-1 vaccination with B12 for every animal every year
- Strategic drench program using Levamisole oral and Moxidectin long-acting injection guided by Faecal Egg Count monitoring
- Regular hoof inspection and maintenance
Full health documentation is available on request.
